Comfort Me with Apples: Considering the Pleasures of the Table

Ann Turner is the financial and budget manager of the University of

Literary recipes? Culinary essays? It is difficult to characterize these
sensuous, evocative pieces as food columns from a magazine, but that is

columns in Hour magazine. And food is the common element through the
collection. The sight of it triggers musings that explore the human

table of contents, but the words are those of a poet, and they are food
for the soul.
