Virginia Gillham is Associate Librarian in the Public Service Library at
the University of Guelph.

The FEAC directory lists the names, qualifications, and experience of 221 editors who specialize in the print media, audio-visual media, and/or computer software field. The editors are listed alphabetically under six geographic regions. Each editor’s entry outlines his or her area of expertise, specific skills, background, and subject interests.

Indexes by media/genre, by specific editing skills, and by area of subject expertise help the user to find the appropriate editor for his or her project. Resumes and references, though not included, are usually available from the editor upon request. A sample agreement (contract) form has also been included.

This directory would be of interest to researchers, business people, or others who require occasional assistance in producing written, computer, or audio-visual materials.
