Review

Family, friends, and traditional food is the theme of this personal
recipe collection. The recipes, many with Ukrainian roots, were
accumulated by the author throughout her life. A brief note accompanies
each is about who shared the recipe with her and where she was living at
the time. Amateur black-and-white snapshots of the author and the recipe
giver are usually included as well.

The recipes are incomplete, lacking adequate methods or measurements.
The book’s value is strictly as a memento for the author’s family
and friends.
