Review

Bargain hunters, do-it-yourselfers, the thrifty, and the energetic will love this moderately priced paperback. Beginning with Attitudes, Platitudes, Philosophies and Generalities, it goes on to offer money-saving ideas under topics such as Pets, Kids, Gifts, Travel, etc. By following even a few of these suggestions regularly, the reader will have recovered the cost of the book and saved additional dollars.

Appended are a list of addresses and a list of useful titles. There is no index, but the short entries make it easy to locate what interests you. It is excellent for browsing.

Libraries will be delighted to know that the author urges frequent visits to their shelves as a major money-saving strategy.

Highly recommended for careful consumers.
