Review

Cordon bleu reviews of 100 outstanding Vancouver restaurants: these are
la crиme de la crиme. The chosen 100 represent the “best in class”
of the wide variety available on Vancouver’s dining-out scene. They
range from gourmet to fast-food, with price (for two) from under $20 to
more than $60. The reviews are arranged by type of cuisine (French,
Chinese, seafood, etc.) and indexed by restaurant name, general location
in Vancouver, and price range. They include the address, telephone
number, approximate price of a three-course meal for two without wine,
and whether the restaurant is licensed. And, of course, the review
itself. Vancouver Magazine’s restaurant reviews have long been as
notable for their appeal to the senses as they have for their accuracy
and critical appraisals of food, service, and ambience. This collection
is well up to the magazine’s mouth-watering standard.
