Review
Set on the 18 tees of a golf course, The Foursome is a deftly paced play
about four old college chums, home for their 15-year reunion, who share
their respective successes and failures during a round of golf. It is a
wonderfully comedic event replete with sparkling and authentic dialogue.
At strategic moments, the belly laughs and one-liners give way to quiet
moments of revelation and discovery.
Norm Foster is the author of more the two dozen plays, including the
populist and award-winning The Melville Boys (1986).
