Review

Canadian photographer Gérard Chвtaigneau and Canadian journalist Steve
Milton, both of whom have been covering international figure skating
competitions for many years, have combined their prodigious talents to
issue yet another gorgeous, coffee-table book of current figure skating
stars. Beautiful color photographs, point-form career histories, and
thumbnail career analyses of 14 men, 14 women, 10 free-skating pairs,
and 13 dance pairs highlight the cream of the current figure skating
crop—those who have placed in the top 10 world figure skating
competitions since 1999. In most cases, multiple photographs of each
subject are featured. Canadian content includes any Canadian world
competitor since 1999. This volume is a must-buy for fans of this most
popular of winter sports.
