Review

Anyone with an interest in antiques or other collectibles will find this
comprehensive directory a useful resource.

The bulk of the work is a listing, alphabetically by town, of every
dealer/retailer in Ontario who sells antiques, coins, stamps, clocks,
dolls, sports cards, jewellery, books, comic books, and so forth. If
people collect it, it’s included. Auctioneers, restorers, clock and
furniture repair houses, flea markets, and related services are also
listed. Each entry includes the shop’s name, address, and telephone
number; most give open hours.

This mass of data is supplemented by advertisements, a schedule of
shows for 1994-95

and—for visitors to Ontario—information on GST refunds.

Although the directory will quickly become out of date, it is an
excellent resource for the collector who is prepared to travel in
pursuit of that perfect find.
