Review

Originally published in French, this collection of stories is an
exhibition of oozing sexuality, surface beauty, narcissistic strokes,
and tiresome clichés. In one story, Rico (a giant muscular sex god) has
a sweaty, indiscreet encounter with our flexible and taut, yet womanly
bosomed, heroine in the gym during a blackout. In another story, podgy
and socially inept Bernard awakes up from a deep sleep to find that he
is the Greek god he always wanted to be; he then finds himself in the
middle of a wet lesbian encounter with two nymphets (what dismay when he
awakens the second time to discover it was only a dream).

The residual aftertaste of these stories comes from the incredibly
overused ellipsis. If you believe that the silent mystic of the truly
erotic can be tucked away into repetitive punctuation, then you might
enjoy this collection.
