Review

Each winter thousands of Canadians flock to the southern regions of the
United States; some take up permanent residence. In The Border Guide,
Robert Keats deals with many of the problems Canadians encounter,
involving medical coverage, insurance, mortgages, immigration, and
pensions. For example, to counter a drop in the value of the Canadian
dollar (which results in a decline in purchasing power in the United
States), Keats advises investing in assets that produce income in U.S.
currency.

This guide is of value chiefly to those whose incomes are large enough
to enable them to take advantage of Keats’s strategies.
