Review

This is one of a series following on the Introduction to COBOL and WAIGOM COBOL Tutorial and Reference Manual. The emphasis here is COBOL programming for specific structures as determined by the need to solve a problem. Here it is the small business of EASY-GO Credit Card Company. The primer has explanations for customer files, mailing invoices, printing address labels, correspondence, copying and printing files, sales reports, and searching for data. There are the useful flowcharts and exercises, along with four projects at the end that deal with merging, file maintenance, the preparation of invoices, and accounts payable. A good little book to have for its business applications.
