Review

This Canadianized text of a standard American writing guide covers the art of writing, the mechanics of writing, the procedures for revision, the preparation of essays and reviews, and how to use a library (with some questionable statements). The Canadian version makes use of selections from about 75 different Canadian authors. There are bibliographies at the end of each chapter, but they are not up to date. Still, a useful and relatively inexpensive manual and guide for libraries’ circulating collections.
