Review

In these busy days, it behooves every member of the family to be handy in the kitchen, and there’s no better way to ensure this happy result than by learning at an early age that the experience can be pleasurable, as well as producing scrumptious results. This extremely attractive recipe collection is designed to appeal to the very youngest of still-under-supervision cooks, but the dishes described will tickle palates of any age. Many recipes are especially suited to the use of high-nutrition ingredients such as whole wheat flour. Measurements are provided in both metric and imperial units. The recipes are listed under the headings Snacks and Light Meals, Sweet and Yummy, Good for You, and Holidays and Celebrations. Fold-back ring binding; indexed.
