Review

This book presents the reader with a rich and varied collection of the author’s favourite fishing stories. The individual stories that make up the collection are well chosen, interesting, informative, and often very funny. Expertly retold here in a light and entertaining manner, they collectively make for an enjoyable read. In the process, they effectively capture and reflect much of the appeal, enjoyment, and fun of fishing. The text is accompanied by a glossary of fishing terms, a short section on fishing tips, and a specially prepared map showing the author’s favourite fishing spots. For everyone who has even “wetted” a fishing line and especially for those who haven’t.

The author is a well-known fisherman and outdoorsman; this is his third book.
