Review

The first edition of this book was published in 1981 and reviewed in CBRA 1981 (entry 1042); there has not been much change except for updated bibliographical references. This is a practical guide for anyone in charge of a small map collection. It deals with planning, acquiring, and classifying maps, “reference” work with maps, and specific solutions to particular problems. The first edition was 88 pages and cost $12.50; there is still no index (which is needed since the main arrangement is by broad topic).
