Review

The Thompson River is covered, in this guide book, from Ashcroft to Lytton, a distance of some 80 kilometers. The twelve maps and the guides detail a route that can be covered in an hour by car or train (by the rails/roadway along the mountain side), or by one to three days by raft. All of the sites and the activities are clearly marked on the maps. Additional topics include material about safety, river levels, the floral and fauna of the surrounding area, a history, and a general overview of the Thompson River system.
