Review

This descriptive guidebook to a park in southern B.C. is informative and useful (but not too detailed in its approach). For summer activities there is mention of hiking trails, campsites, lakes and meadows. For winter activities, there is cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, skating, sledding, snowmobiling, and so forth. At the beginning of the text there is a short history of the trails, the wildlife (flora and fauna), logging in the area, and the derivation of names common to the area of the park. Colour photographs are a definite asset here.
