Frankland’s useful mathematical formulary for plumbers has been overhauled by Doughty to allow for use by pocket calculators, to employ the System International (metric) units of measurement, and to expand the tables of data to include modern, up-to-date information. Otherwise, the handbook is the same as the earlier edition. This is a very important book for the industry, and it is a necessary purchase for science and engineering libraries.
