Review

This is the first published collection of poems, some 58 of them, by Pat Jasper. They deal mainly with family life and marital relationships. (As an aside, one of the many jobs that she has held was writing blurbs for Harlequin romances.) “Recycling” refers to three things: it is the title of one of her poems here; it refers to the way the past seems to recur in people’s lives, time and time again; and it refers to the fact that many of these poems have been previously published or made available in 21 different periodicals and annuals (while others were read on radio and cable television).
