Review

Meetings are a necessary part of any sports organization, whether on the amateur or the professional level. Professor Slack, of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Studies of the University of Alberta, has put together a valuable little book that should do for sport meetings what Bourinot and Robert have done for meetings in general.

The book is put together using sample forms, both blank and completed, for every stage of a meeting, from the planning to the execution. Because the volume is spiralbound, it can sit upon a lectern or a table. It will serve the admirable purpose of cutting down the length of time a meeting will take, simply by supplying chairpersons with the proper forms and worksheets. Recommended for public libraries, which should have several copies.
