Review

These two teachers of English at Sheridan College in Toronto have produced a timely, step-by-step guide to the most sophisticated form of business writing. Its use in education will meet the complaints of businessmen that today’s students cannot express themselves logically and concisely in writing. Those already in today’s competitive marketplace will find that mastery of this business format of persuasion will add to their income. The whole report writing process is covered — defining reports, getting started, getting the reports organized and written, providing unity, using illustrations, fashioning the ending and beginning, and making them professional.
