Review
For entrepreneurs, business goals are inseparable from personal goals.
This book focuses on the interconnections between business planning and
personal financial planning. Its 11 lucidly written chapters consider
such topics as assessing entrepreneurial traits, maintaining cash flow,
and understanding the pros and cons of various investment vehicles. The
bulk of the book is devoted to the development and integration of
effective business and personal financial plans.
Unfortunately, the perfunctory bibliography and list of Web sites does
not reflect the wealth of materials available to entrepreneurs. And
while one appendix provides excellent blank forms with which to
construct a personal plan, another appendix does not provide sufficient
worksheets for a viable business plan. Nevertheless, Small Business, Big
Money will be of interest to first-time entrepreneurs.
