Review

From the breakfast milkshake to the post-party night-cap, this small,
information-packed book has a recipe to deal with thirst of any kind.
The selection includes both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, beverages
for children, family gatherings and cocktail parties.

The current coffee craze is recognized with 25 coffee drinks, and the
trend to serving spectacular punches is helped along with details on
making ice rings as well as at least a dozen punch recipes.

While the book includes a guide to the most popular mixed alcoholic
drinks, the majority of the recipes are for drinks the whole family will
enjoy—fruit and vegetables shakes, yoghurt smoothies, slushes, teas,
coolers, and punches.

A clean layout, easy-to-follow methods, imperial and metric measures
and lots of color photos all add to the attractiveness and practicality
of the work. The illustrated glossary of glasses and garnishes will be
valued by the novice host.
