Review

Building on the success of The Great Canadian Trivia Book 1, the authors
have created another book of Canadian facts suitable for launching
cocktail party conversations, for amusing the family on long drives, or
for a variety of other purposes. Little-known facts from Canadian
history, geography, science, sports, politics, and the like are
catalogued in one- and two-page snippets suitable for browsing, adapting
for games and quizzes, or just light, fun reading.

When was Niagara Falls turned off? How long does it take a drop of
water to travel from Lake Superior to the Atlantic ocean? Where can you
watch a play with the stage in Canada and the audience sitting in the
United States? What is the narrowest building in Canada? Some 235 pages
of entertaining Canadian facts make this an appealing volume for trivia
buffs, and may well create trivia buffs among new readers.
