Review
This guide to inexpensive Toronto eateries is filled with such
expressions as “delish,” “stuffed to the gills,” “yummy,”
and “pork out.” The (very young) author has drawn on the dining
experiences of family and friends in assembling a wide-ranging guide to
culinary establishments where “an average meal, without drinks ...
falls into the fifteen-dollar price range.” Chapter titles include
“Cheap Dates,” “Chill Out,” “Speed Demons,” and
“Undisgusting Lunches for Under $10.” The eateries span a wide
ethnic spectrum, from Asian to African to European. If you can put up
with the self-consciously “kool” lingo, Get Stuffed Toronto has much
to offer.
