Review

This book is a powerful resource for those interested in learning about
dinosaurs. By drawing on the knowledge of experts in the field, the
author, an expert in his own right, is able to explain and answer many
of the questions commonly asked about these ancient creatures. The
effective use of colorful illustrations in the book elucidates concepts
that might otherwise prove difficult to explain.

The author includes a number of simple experiments that will allow the
reader to duplicate the procedure used by paleontologists to investigate
various questions concerning dinosaur behavior and movement. The reader
is challenged to predict results and encouraged to use logical deduction
when faced with unanswered questions. In reporting recent findings from
paleontological research, this book helps dispel popular misconceptions
about dinosaurs.
