Review

Alexandra Bointon is called a “daydreamer” by Mr. Ali, her Grade 4
teacher, because she often imagines herself creating groundbreaking
scientific experiments. But this time her daydreaming prevents her from
partnering with her best friend, Teagan, for the annual science project.
Instead, she’s paired with Keith, the “weird” new boy in the
class. But her initial dismay turns to enthusiasm when Keith’s aunt, a
world-famous scientist, offers to help them with the project. While
working on the project, Alexandra encounters setbacks and learns the
value of patience, understanding, and a keen sense of curiosity. This
fun and informative book includes the experiments used in the
preparation of the science project. Highly recommended.
