Review

This self-help book presents a 10-step program aimed at moving the
overstressed and overworked Type A individual toward a more balanced and
healthy lifestyle. The program features techniques based on holistic
medicine and cognitive-behavioral stress reduction. Techniques for
achieving inner peace and balance include reducing nicotine, caffeine,
and alcohol intake and engaging in meditation, tai chi, and yoga.
Readers interested in exploring alternative nutritional and medical
approaches to managing stress will find The Healthy Type A a useful, if
somewhat biased, source of information.
