Review

Looking for some terrific picture books that will not only educate
preschoolers about wildlife but make learning fun too? These books, with
their colorful, real-life photographs of animals in action or just lying
around snoozing will grab any young reader’s attention. The verse
describing the animals’ characteristics and habitats, as well as an
“I Spy, You Spy” game that leads the child to locate different parts
of the animals or their surroundings (e.g., I Spy, You Spy—Find the
cheetah’s long tail—which is almost as long as it’s legs), are a
winning combination. Fun and fact-filled, these delightful books are
highly recommended.
