Review

This puzzle-cum-art book consists of “Before” and “After” scenes
that appear on consecutive double-page spreads. One “Before” scene
depicts a small lake in the midst of a semi-desert African plain that is
full of animals drinking and bathing. In the “After a minute” scene
on the next page, we see a lion within feet of its prey and a buzzard
circling overhead. Settings include a tropical coral reef in the
Indo-Pacific, the African savannah, the North American wetlands, and the
South American rainforest. Highly recommended.
