Review

This nifty little book, which contains more than 90 user-friendly
lessons and projects, describes hands-on activities designed to
stimulate students’ thinking and creative skills. It is organized
according to shorter lessons and projects (like getting a million-dollar
grant for your school), longer lessons and projects (such as creating
your own newspaper or magazine), and red-phone emergency classes, with
subject-specific suggestions. Although there are plenty of ideas for
interesting and engaging activities, specific lesson objectives and
methods for evaluation are not included. As a source of quick and easy
exercises, this handy volume provides ample variety of suggestions.
