Review

Since around half of all marriages or committed relationships end in
divorce or separation, there is a continuing demand for books designed
to help couples with their relationship difficulties. In this book, the
author devotes a chapter to each of the seven key ingredients needed to
build a healthy relationship: caring, change, communication, connection,
conflict, creativity, and commitment. Interspersed with strategies for
achieving (or, in the case of conflict, resolving) the seven “C”s
are anecdotal stories drawn from the lives of the author and his
clients. A solid bibliography and recommendations for further reading
are also included. User-friendly and full of sensible advice, Vitamin C
for Couples has much to offer couples who are seeking to improve the
quality of their life together.
