Review

Elena Michaels is well on her way to achieving her goals: a career, a
husband, children, even a mother-in-law. The only difficulty is that
Elena is a werewolf and her pack has called her back to help defend it
from a threat it doesn’t fully understand. Things get complicated as
she tries to negotiate the demands of two very different worlds, deal
with her own broken past, and balance everybody’s expectations against
her own needs.

Kelley Armstrong’s first book expertly blends romance, mystery,
thriller, and horror. Elena is a likable heroine, the supporting
characters are intriguing, and the story will keep readers on the edge
of their seats. What makes Bitten an excellent candidate for almost any
library collection is its surprisingly universal appeal.
