Review

This is a comprehensive review of a health issue that has become a
general public concern in the past 10 years. The authors condense a
large volume of research, learned opinion, and case study into a
coherent explanation comprehensible to the layperson. However, this book
is not for casual readers. It is written for people who want to
understand the issue but need some synthesis and explanation to help
assess the impact of electromagnetic radiation on health. To this end,
tables, charts, chapter notes, bibliographies, and a glossary are
provided.

Ideas for personal solutions include the recognition of, and testing
for, electromagnetic radiation sources in the home and practising
“prudent avoidance.” This book is recommended for public and
academic libraries.
