Review

Not much information is given about the creator of this collection of
cartoons beyond the fact that he has been living aboard a boat for the
past seven years and that that is where the drawings were made. They
poke fun (often none too subtle) at sailors and sailing. Although many
of the gaffs seem far fetched, they are all possible. When Stoyan turns
to drawing women, however, his style can best be described as overblown.
A few of the gags are closer to bad taste than political incorrectness.
If you can put up with these shortcomings, The Bent Bulkhead offers
plenty of chuckles and a few laughs.
