Review

This little pamphlet (under twenty pages) is based on 64 questions on safety and health for craftsmen and artists. These questions relate to industrial hygiene, facilities, storage, work practice, personal protective equipment, and general health. While these questions can alert artists to some of the hazards involved in their profession, the booklet is too thin to be very useful. It contains a good section on other information resources, but additional initiative on the artist’s part is required to obtain the information essential to a good risk assessment.
