Review

This is the catalogue for the exhibit that ran from April 1 to June 2, 1985. The paintings were drawn from the McElney collection and from four others (including the Royal Ontario Museum). The exhibit, and hence this catalogue, is a sequel to the Gallery’s 1982 offering, “Chinese Paintings in Canada Collections.” This present catalogue, largely with black-and-white reproductions, represents about 60 painters. There is a concluding bibliography put together by researcher Barry Till.
