Review
Max and Josephine plant seeds: watermelon, pumpkin, eggplant, and so on. They tend their garden with care and watch it flourish; then theyharvest their crops. For example, when they plant one watermelon seed, 10 watermelons grow; two pumpkin seeds produce 20 pumpkins; 10 corn seeds yield 100 ears of corn — and untold quantities of popcorn. Karen Patkau’s colourful collages complement this attractive counting book aimed at children ages 2 to 7.
