Review

Nicholas is a 27-year-old undergraduate student and a loner, who meets a pretty fellow student by the name of Jack. Jack is a representative of middle class America, who is soon trying to understand and minister to the enigmatic Nicholas.

Out of this potentially tiresome scenario, however, comes an intriguing, well-crafted, and highly readable story — all the more admirable because it isKennedy’s first novel.
