This is a welcome addition to the bookshelves of Canadian trivia buffs. Designed to provide seasonal entertainment for families, this book is best suited for young adults who are knowledgeable about several topics. Questions, puzzles, multiple-choice quizzes, and anecdotal paragraphs are used to challenge an individual’s knowledge of Canadian history, geography, arts, sports, and much more. Each section begins with a few short paragraphs of information related to a specific holiday (Civic Day, Remembrance Day, etc.). The quiz that follows is in several different formats, posing a wide range of questions. Answers and elaborated explanations are provided in the last half of the book.
