Review

The authors are both practising attorneys, but there is hardly a trace
of legalese or jargon in this highly readable and useful guide to
buying, owning, and selling a home.

The section on buying takes the reader through all the relevant steps,
starting with the determination of price range. The section on ownership
covers everything from maintenance and repairs to dealing with annoying
neighbors. Selling is also covered in detail, although this section
could have been more explicit with respect to the pros and cons of
private sales. Tables and forms provide further guidance, while the
occasional cartoon adds a humorous touch.
