Review

Meet good friends Sarah and Ben. While level-headed Ben is calm but
curious, life is never dull with a pal like Sarah around. Sarah is
always looking for challenges in life, and the next one she’s set her
eye on is an excellent science project.

When Ben and Sarah walk into the store where Anastasia Morningstar
works, their lives change forever. They notice something odd and
exciting about her right away. She has turned the thief, Derek Henshaw,
into a frog! Even if it were only for a moment, they recognize magic
when they see it. It is then that Sarah decides that Anastasia
Morningstar must be her next science project.

Sarah and the Magic Science Project is full of enchantment and mystery,
with a twist of fantasy. Black-and-white cartoonlike illustrations add
fun to the story, which will be enjoyed by middle-grade readers.
Recommended.
