Hidden Worlds: Amazing Tunnel Stories

the tunnels were made and who used them. Debora Pearson’s lively text
and fun dialogue bubbles, along with Tina Holdcroft’s upbeat,
cartoonlike illustrations, add humor and entertainment to the adventure.

The book has a well-designed format: each tunnel is depicted in a
double-page spread. The book includes an introduction and an index, and
concludes with a section titled, “More About Tunnels” (the factual
information here enhances the stories).

This fascinating look at the many different worlds underground is
highly recommended.
