Review

“Nothing exciting ever happens to me,” sighs Mr. Reez. But Mr.
Reez’s life changes when he accidentally inhales some pepper and has a
Guinness Book of World Records sneeze. The force of the sneeze sends Mr.
Reez flying out the window and around the world, initiating several
mishaps along the way. He encounters two people in a hot air balloon,
and they share their lunch with him. A hot tamale with pepper causes Mr.
Reez to sneeze again, and he is off once more! But this time he lands
safely at home. The following day, Mr. Reez throws out all of his
pepper.

Sami Suomalainen’s bright watercolor illustrations nicely complement
the humorous story. The pictures in the book may remind readers of the
work of well-known illustrator, Quentin Blake. Recommended.
