Review

This book is great fun. It includes a huge selection of photographs of
Stephen Leacock and his family, not to mention shots of his home at The
Old Brewery Bay in Orillia, and reproductions of letters. The most
interesting photographs are a series taken by Yousuf Karsh on a visit to
The Old Brewery Bay in 1941. Though the text is kept to a minimum, it
provides just enough background for the pictures. The book is not meant
for reading but for looking, and Leacock aficionados in particular will
find it a visual feast.
