Review

Bella has two passions in her young preschool life: the sweater that her nonna knit for Bella’s birthday and the bunny who lives in a hutch that looks just like a house at her playschool. One day, Bella forgets her sweater at school. When she comes back the next day, the sweater isn’t in her cubby like she thought. It’s missing. Also missing is the bunny from her hutch. They are found nestled together, and Nonna knits bunny a sweater of its very own.

This is warm and fuzzy story is about things lost and found, where people come together to find the lost objects and long-term solutions are viably enacted. The illustrations are full-page mosaic style, brightly coloured and full of simple details. Recommended.
