Review

Does your Halloween jack-o’-lantern look more sad than bad? Maybe you
need a little professional help. This book features 22 jack-o’-lantern
designs, as well as detailed step-by-step tips on how to carve a
pumpkin. Each design comes with a stencil that you can cut out and tape
to your pumpkin. There are plenty of eerie faces to choose from, but for
people who want something a little different (and a little more
challenging) there are also designs for howling wolves, ravens, hissing
cats, Frankenstein’s monster, Dracula, and even a few clowning ghouls.

The carving instructions include valuable tips on how to get the
jack-o’-lantern’s face properly centred on the pumpkin, how to
safely remove the large cut pieces, and how to make your finished
creation last longer by carving smoke vents in the proper areas.

With so many designs, this book will likely last you several Halloween
seasons. Highly recommended.
