Review

In this book, an invitation to a fishing resort is also an invitation to
mystery.

The Rumpel family looks forward to a relaxing holiday of boating,
swimming, and fishing at the Happy Daze Lodge, recently acquired by
their old friend Bert and Ernie. Quincy hopes the resort will be filled
with handsome young men—maybe even the Oxford Rowing Team!

Arriving at the run-down lodge, the Rumpels discover there are no other
vacationers. Unfortunately, Happy Daze is a fishing resort without fish.
Quincy and her brother and sister set out to discover what caused the
mysterious disappearance of the fish that once frequented Phantom Cove.
During their investigation, they also find a very large footprint that
may well belong to a sasquatch.

The slightly wacky Rumpel family and their friends will please young
readers. A fun, light read for 8- to 10-year-olds.
