Review

What’s in the closet? How do you shampoo your hair? What do you smell
with? Who dares to tickle? These are just a few of the many questions a
child is helped to answer by looking through this book. Everyday
activities are the background for the dress-up questions, which
stimulate the child’s imagination. The pictures provide clues, and
small children are encouraged to look carefully at the amusing
illustrations.

The bright, detailed illustrations are an essential part of this unique
book. Children as young as two years are able to guess the answers to
the questions with help from an adult. Older children might find this
book less stimulating after a few readings, and prefer a plotted story.
