Review

Franklin’s Easter will provide hours of fun as young Franklin fans, on
their own or with adult assistance, help their hero paint and decorate
eggs, dress up for the Easter parade, or enjoy a spring picnic. The
brightly coloured laminated covers serve as the backdrops for those
activities. Children can help Franklin prepare for the holiday using the
more than 30 vinyl stickers provided. Because the stickers can be
repositioned, the number of scenes that may be created is limited only
by the child’s imagination.

Inside, mazes, word searches and scrambles, spotting differences or
finding hidden objects, and tasks involving craft ideas (some requiring
adult supervision) provide further opportunities for fun and skill
development. Solutions to the puzzles are given in the back of the book.
Even after all the activities are completed, children will enjoy
colouring the illustrations of Franklin and his friends. Recommended.
